I'm a young college student from Miami who's entering the professional world at a time when AI is changing how we work, build, and create. Rather than watching that change happen from the sidelines, I want to be part of it.
My Interest in AI
Building with AI, not just studying it.
I'm currently studying Business Analytics with AI at Florida International University while also spending a significant amount of my own time experimenting with today's AI tools. I work with platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Codex, and other emerging technologies to build websites, experiment with automations, solve problems, and turn ideas into working projects.
When I noticed how much the initial application focused on AI and familiarity with AI tools, it immediately caught my attention. It felt closely connected to something I'm already genuinely interested in and actively exploring, which was a major reason I decided to apply.
Why This Opportunity
More than another job.
I'm looking for an opportunity where I can expand my skill set, work alongside new people, and learn from people with more experience than me. I want to put myself in environments that challenge me, expose me to new ideas, and give me opportunities to apply what I'm learning to real situations.
At this stage of my life, I'm intentionally trying to put myself out there. I want to build relationships, gain meaningful experience, contribute wherever I can, and begin making a name for myself through the quality of my work.

I'm also at a point where professional growth and personal independence go hand in hand. As a college student, I'm working toward taking responsibility for expenses such as my tuition and car while continuing my education.
Having the opportunity to support those responsibilities while doing work that genuinely interests me would be especially meaningful. Rather than viewing work and school as separate paths, I see this as an opportunity for both to contribute to the future I'm trying to build.
I don't expect to know everything walking in. I expect to learn quickly, contribute where I can, ask good questions, and leave better than I started.
That's the kind of opportunity I'm looking for.
